We got some great stories from our few days in the country. One of my favorites is this. Mind you this town has 1,400 people in it. So everyone know everyone. We go to the one thrift-ish store in the town. The sweet woman that owns the place is also the town dress maker. I find a couple really cool things in her shop. Well she only takes cash or check. Of course I dont have cash on me. So I ask if she would take an out of state check. She looks at me and says "Who's your friend that lives here?" I say C's name and she say "Ok I'll take your check". WHERE DOES THAT STILL HAPPEN????? Obviously Earlville, IL.
As you will be able to see corn fields out number people in this small town. I was not really paying attention on the way to C's parents house where the reception was being held. We made a lot of turns at a lot of corn fields. When it was time to leave I asked how to get back to the hotel. I was told drive towards the lights you will find it.
The photo's you are about to see is the adventure of city folks in a no stop light town.
